Who we are

We exist because crossing borders for medical care should feel less like a transaction, and more like being met by family at the airport.

Amanak was founded in Cairo in 2016 with a deceptively simple ambition: to build the most trusted gateway for medical tourism and professional training across the Arab world. We started by listening — to patients who had been lost in translation, to families navigating unfamiliar health systems, to hospitals seeking partners who understood both clinical excellence and cultural nuance.

Today, our network spans more than fifty JCI-accredited hospitals across Egypt and Jordan, fifteen countries of patient origin, and thousands of recovery stories. Yet the principle that started us has not changed: from first consultation to final follow-up, every decision is made as if the patient were our own.

We are not a referral agency. We are case managers, translators, cost-transparency advocates, cultural liaisons, and — when it matters most — a calm voice at the other end of the line at 3 a.m. from a hospital corridor half a world away.
